Does red wine stain polished concrete?
Red wine and some foodstuffs like beetroot are very strongly coloured, so if these items are left to soak overnight and dry, they can leave a pinkish stain on your polished concrete. This is the same as with timber and most other flooring or benchtop types. As a result, we would always recommend that spills are cleaned up as promptly as possible to prevent the chances of a stain happening. The longer a spill is left on the floor, the more likely it is to cause a stain.
