Can you polish up shells in my polished concrete?

Unfortunately, we do not usually recommend using shells in your polished concrete. This is because shells tend to break and shatter as the polishing machines touch them, so this is not advisable. There are some epoxy coatings or grind and seals which could be used, but this is quite a complex series of steps, so planning would have to be done extremely early in the piece. If you would like to learn more about alternative decorative items that can be embedded more easily in your concrete, feel free to contact us and we would be happy to discuss options with you.
